If you honestly think that you're going to start a volunteer company in the city of trenton, you must not be all upstairs in the head! How do you expect to start a volunteer, free of charge, service for what UNION guys get paid to do? Bottomline, it won't happen in the city of trenton!

Lets also say you can pay to equip the truck and fireman and somehow manage to get the money to pay the insurances needed. In fact, why don't we just start from the premise that you are 100% ready to answer alarms.

Now who is going to call you? 911 gets you the TFD. Do you expect a person in need of a fire truck to call your firehouse's "business" number and hope to get an answer?

Well This is a dream of mine. I wanted to Server the City of Trenton as a Fire Fighter or a Officer of the City. I was told as a Voluteer for a township company it well never happen. I know the city is in hard times right now so fining a job as a fire fighter doesnt really seem like its going to happen. So i came up with a idea to Voluteer to Serve the City i know its a payed Department City. Singal 2-2 is Voluteer in Trenton and they Server it. Everything Runs nice so Why Not Lets give it a Try. Its for Trenton No for no one Else I think i can make it happen and i have token steps over the last 2 months to learn how to make it happen.

Its has bin my lifes dream to be a city fire man. I wanted to be one for a long time. With times being so hard now i know i cant get a job being a fire fighter for trenton so made i though i start a real fire station on Duck Island or Brunwick Ave Old Station 9 only if station 9 was ok to use. One of the things people keep saying is get people behine you. Get the Citys to help you fine a place. Basical we no money just a place to clean up and put back something City of Trenton hasnt had in Years Hope. I am a City Man so i bin in the City for Years i know what i am talking about and i am not trying to start anything with the Payed Fire fighters we wanna help out not make it harder

This idiot is obviously messing with the readers,I say that because nobody that can actually turn on a computer can be that stypid! Or maybe it's Gonzalez trying to stir sh#t from whatever rock he crawled under,and if it is then I take back my previous comment about nobody being that stupid! The sad thing is that the firefighters in this city are hard pressed to handle 2 incidents at once as it is! And to talk anything about layoffs is ridiculous,they took a huge hit a few years ago that was bad enough. But to talk about lowering the manpower on the trucks and rolling closures is a very dangerous situation. Where the hell is the management in relation to the AFG grants and the Safer grants? Maybe they should step away from operating TEMS for a few weeks and get to work on getting these grants. There is a new program out there that will pay the full salaries of possible layoffs for a period of 3 years! Pull your heads out of that dark space between your legs and get to work on saving the dept,TEMS will be ok without the battalion chief that runs it for a few days

Well put it to you this way everyone this is a real name i did get the rights to i have alot to learn. I am putting together a team of people i know and yes i would like the People in the city to be a part of it. I don't know whats so wrong with my Company being apart of the city. i am working on the 14th page of the working by laws of the Company and The way its going to be is Me as the Chief 1 Deputy Chief 1 Battlion Chief 3 Captains. We have alot of Work to do its going to take years but i know it can be done and it will happen and no one can tell me other wise

Many Years ago Trenton Had a lot of Voluteers in the City. It was The Amercian thing to do for someone. See one thing Differnt From Some Voluteers and Payed Fire Man. The Fire Fighter From the Union are there for the money and to move up in the ranks to make more money a Voluteer they put there Hearts into it and they don't do it for the Money they do it beacuse they love the job thats the thing. Also i dont understand why Trenton Fire Man are Staired of the free fireman hell makes there jobs easyer in a big fire like in Trenton Iron Metal and other big Fires.

You should go to city hall and apply for the Fire Director's job. By the looks of your posts you have more intelligence then our last director. I can see it now volunteers speeding to the firehouse running red lights, forcing cars off the road. You dont expect people to pull over for you do you? Let me know how you do, I can't get them to stop and let me out of the firehouse let alone pull over and let us by.

Well I dont wanna take anything from people who worked 25 years or more to get the jobs in the city but i no people that became officer beacuse of a bday and if that can happen for them then maybe i can become a Chief of my own company I cant see why not. I dont know i guss if someone asked me to be that like Tony then i would But I like doing my own thing

I am going to a work Shop at TCNJ this Tuesday, for lessons on how to run a Fire house as a small Bussness. I was called today to go there. So if there are anyone in the city that is wounding that if i know how to run a SB I well have a refresher on Tuesday. I am still looking for help with a building and Turn out PPE for the new Fire Fighter i want to train in my Company. So i hope maybe to get more Info on classes to take for ICS and Fire Fighter 2 so that theres no people that are mad but at these point i dont care its amercia everyone should get a chance to live there Dreams
